Lab Technician
Pay: $25.00/hour
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Shift: M-F / 8am-5pm
Experience Requirements-Lab Technician
- Requires 0-2 years of related experience in an undergraduate lab, experience in an industry setting is beneficial
- Demonstrated experience in performing experiments using standard lab equipment
- Must be good with following protocols and procedures in performing experiments
- Must be good with documenting findings and assessment of experimental result from visual data
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiar with MS Excel, MS Word, and other basic software • Familiarity with MATLAB and LabVIEW is beneficial
Job Description- Lab Technician
The Test Technician role within the R&D department will work in our Electrochemistry Lab, to perform experiments, participate in data analysis, literature share, presentation preparations and other tasks assigned from time to time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-Lab Technician
- Assist scientists and engineers as they plan and schedule for experiments and other tests using electrochemical instruments and our commercially available ePlex instruments in the lab
- Perform experiments following the provided instructions
- Analyze data and evaluate the experiments
- Follow safety and hazard instructions and participate in chemical waste management
- Perform literature research and report to the scientists and engineers in the teams
- Assist in preparing presentations
- Maintain organized data tracking for all data collected
